wear your (pop) art on your sleeve.

Ever since I saw the classic Warhol film Chelsea Girls, my obsession with
all things pop art , particularly the likes of Jean-Michel Basquait, Pauline Boty, Andy
Warhol (obv) , Banksy, Damien Hirst, and Roy Lichtenstein began.

Designers like Betsey Johnson, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino,
Heatherette and Lisa Perry captured the fashion
world’s imagination with bold references to pop
culture highly visible in their work.

The look is pure, colour drenched
eye porn, with stars like Rita Ora, Katy Perry &
Nicki Minaj comfortably adopting this as their
signature look.
Fashion editors have even coined the phrase “Kidult” to
describe the colourful, childlike essence of the look
embraced by serious fashionistas and Jane Soaps on
the street alike.

Cartoon tees, pop art dresses,
sneakers and retro pop culture figures prominently
featured in garments & statement accessories make for a light-hearted, expressive journey to a place where art boldly meets fashion.
