Why everyone should watch at least one TED Talk video a day

A few years ago, when I first moved to this beautiful (*coughs*) town, having a descent affordable internet access was a bit of a long stretch.

If I did, the connection was so slow that it would take about 5 to 10 seconds to open up a Facebook page, and at the time, Facebook was pretty much all we did on the internet (besides researching for work, which is all I was allowed to do with my internet access at the time).

I already knew about TED Talks but again, the connection speed was such that we had to wait 20mins for a YouTube video to load (you know, waiting for the grey bar was way ahead of the red one) in order to enjoy an entire video without interruption.

Thankfully, a lot has changed since then. Internet access has improved and is more accessible, more affordable and relatively faster…
